Salmand: Iranian Journal of Ageing

Salmand: Iranian Journal of Ageing is the official peer-reviewed journal of the Iranian Research Center on Aging which located at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, Tehran, Iran. The journal is published quarterly, since 2006, as the Pioneer journal in the area of aging in Middle East, designed to publish articles on important issues facing today's older adult’s population. The Journal publishes peer-reviewed original articles and commissioned reviews on gerontology and geriatrics. This interdisciplinary journal present views and perspectives from a wide variety of disciplines including ageing process, clinical, epidemiological, psychosocial, and biological aspects of later life. Articles in the categories of Brief Communication, Case Report, and Letter to the Editor that may be of interest to researchers in gerontology and geriatrics are also accepted.

Archives of Rehabilitation

Archives of Rehabilitation (Previously title: “Journal of Rehabilitation” ISSN: 1607-2960), in Middle East Since 2000. Latin title of journal was changed from “Journal of Rehabilitation” to “Archives of Rehabilitation” (ISSN: 2538-6247) at January 2017, because of the similar title at the international level. Archives of Rehabilitation is a quarterly double blind peer-reviewed publication of University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences. It is an open access journal, published Persian full-text and English abstract & bibliography. The manuscripts devoted to diverse fields of Rehabilitation sciences, including, Audiology, Mental Health, Optometry, Occupational therapy, Orthotics and Prosthetics, and Speech therapy. The journal's content is relevant to all members of medical rehabilitation team, including physicians, nurses, counselors, therapists, etc.

Practice in Clinical Psychology

The contributions in Practice in Clinical Psychology represent the breadth of clinical psychology erudition in the scientific community featuring original research from diverse fields in clinical psychology including psychometrics and measurement, etiology, epidemiology, prevention, therapy, and rehabilitation in mental disorders. Original articles, review articles, and case reports are acceptable for Practice in Clinical Psychology.

Health in Emergencies & Disasters Quarterly (HEDQ)

To establish an academic platform and make a scientific network for sharing and transferring and exchanging knowledge in the field of the health in disaster and emergency and to facilitate diffusion of research results among researchers. Health in Emergencies and Disasters Quarterly covers all topics related to different dimensions of preserving and/or enhancing health in emergencies and disasters (i.e. health care services/organizations, civil engineering, geology/geometry, policy making, socio-cultural considerations, ethical issues, political emergencies, economic crises, climate change, etc) from international researchers in form of original and review papers as well as short communication, case study and field reports, editorial, commentary, policy brief and book review.

Physical Treatments

The Journal of Physical Treatments is meant to publish original research with implications for physical therapy, from basic foundations leading to treatment enhancement, to applied treatment protocols and techniques that serve to enhance the understanding of physical therapy. Other types of articles adding to the knowledge content of physical therapy and related fields, such as systematic or narrative reviews, educational, theoretical or debate articles, brief reports, case histories or single case studies are also welcome. Our vision is to become one the most reliable and accessible sources for all those engaged in the science of physical therapy, from theory to practice, to find all they need to get up-to-date and share they experience in physical therapy and the related fields. Physical Treatments is a peer-reviewed journal accepting articles with sound methodologies which add enough to the literature to be published in his journal.
