Deputy of Research and Technology

The Vice-Chancellorship for Research at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences was established in 1992 (1371) concurrently with the founding of the University, with the cooperation of colleagues such as Dr. Kakouei and Dr. Maddah, under the supervision of the then President of the University, Dr. Joghataei. Since its establishment, research activities have been coordinated within the framework of the capacities and responsibilities of the University Research Council and have gradually expanded and developed.

At present, the University’s research sector consists of the Directorate of Research Development and Evaluation, Research Centers, the Directorate of Medical Information and Scientific Resources, and the Directorate of Health Technology Development, all operating under the supervision of the Vice-Chancellorship for Research and Technology.

The Vice-Chancellorship for Research and Technology is responsible for promoting research culture and developing research processes and ideas in the fields of research and technology based on a participatory approach. By utilizing all available capacities, this Vice-Chancellorship strives to pursue research outcomes until the full realization of the University’s objectives.
